An Irish nurse has gone viral on Twitter after sharing the details of her pay slip
Joanna Hickey posted the picture amid the arguments between the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO) and the government over their incomes.
The post revealed what the ‘near top of the scale’ nurse made in two weeks, which was a ‘shocking’ €1,120.80 (£1,000.24) a month.
Joanna said if she worked weekends and extra nights away from her kid and partner, she might make an extra €100 (£89.24).
The picture has emerged after claims nurses earned around €57,000 (£50.868).
